Text Box: The www.viafp.org is used as an ftp-server for The Lake Victoria Development Programme which is a joint initiative of the Swedish Cooperative Centre (SCC) and the Vi Agroforestry Programme (ViAFP). Recently the two organisations, with a common origin of the cooperative movement in Sweden, have merged to form one regional office of Eastern Africa, known as SCC/ViAFP Regional Office. The programme will contribute to a long-term development effort in Lake Victoria, initiated by Governments sharing the Lake and its catchments, and other development partners including the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
